Why do you need this Course and Examination?

As mandated by Texas law, the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) now requires that Dental Assistants who take x-rays apply for Registration.  Those dental assistants are required to attend a course and pass an exam covering Dental Radiology, Infection Control and Jurisprudence.  A Certificate of Completion of the Course and Examination must be attached to the application for Registration along with other required documents.  The deadline for obtaining Registration is November 17, 2008.  The Texas Dental Assistants Association (TDAA) is a Texas State Board of Dental Examiner's Approved Provider for the Dental Assistants Course and Examination.  TDAA is proud to provide this (2) two-day course to all Dental Assistants seeking to become Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) in the state of Texas.

This two-day comprehensive program will feature didactic information streamlined towards successful passage of the exam. Participants will receive easy-to-follow illustrated materials in all three (3) subjects, using the Objectives set forth by the State Board of Dental Examiners: SBDE Rule 114.22.  Question and answer sessions will be included, along with TDAA Members proctoring the test at the completion of the course.
