SBDE Registration: 737-363-2320<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Once you have successfully completed a Dental Assistant Course and Examination with an&nbsp;SBDE Approved Provider&nbsp;or&nbsp;have taken the&nbsp;JURISPRUDENCE ASSESSMENT, you must&nbsp;apply&nbsp;to the SBDE for Registration. Upon receiving the certification of Registration from SBDE you may use the RDA Credential.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/tsbde.texas.gov\/find\/licensure+verification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">SBDE provides Licensure Verification<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Registered Dental Assistant is required to renew Registration biennially. In other words, renew every two (2) years with:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copy of current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Six (6) hours of Continuing Education (CE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete a human trafficking prevention course approved by Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renewal Fee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Note: Dental Assistants who have other certifications must have up-to twelve (12) hours of CE biennially.
